Liaisons Douteuses

"Liaisons Douteuses" (Dubious Connections) is a set of games based on three principles: interrelation, argumentation, and evaluation.

Each card represents words or images. Players must point out the relationships between the cards and argue it. If no relationship seems obvious, the players must chatter the game master. That is, the players must convince the game master with dubious, but plausible relationships. The game master must assess the validity of the players' answers and determine who has made the best case.

In addition to the word cards, there are cards based on the Rorschach test (inkblot test). The overall goal is to match cards together in the smartest, funniest, or most provocative way possible.
